Responsibilities

• Independently record vital signs and monitor patient conditions.
• Assist with nursing care under supervision, including phlebotomy, IV removal and catheter care.
• Perform basic diagnostic and therapeutic tasks as directed by nurses.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Provide personal hygiene and comfort to patients and help with mobility.
• Stock and maintain equipment and supplies; keep unit clean.
• Transport patients and supplies as needed.
