Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. seeks a PACU RN to influence patient care within a collaborative operating room team. You will participate in surgical care, assist with preop/postop education, and support ongoing safety initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure and active state registration.
• Associate Degree required.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education about procedure and perioperative process.
• Prepare patient including IV therapy, preoperative meds, and site verification.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with evidence-based practices.
