Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish in Colorado is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee immediate post-operative care, monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications. The role includes on-call availability and collaboration with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety during recovery.

You will provide wound care, adapt care for adults to pediatric patients, and may rotate to other areas per competency.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse (or multi-state license)
• BSN preferred
• Experience in PACU/CCU/ED is desirable

Responsibilities

• Manage airway, monitor neurological and cardiac status post-op
• Respond promptly to complications or side effects
• Provide initial wound care and ensure patient stability during recovery
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams; on-call during select hours
