Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an OR Tech to support perioperative care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The role involves assisting with room turnover, sterile supply management, case cart prep, and patient care activities as directed by registered nurses.

The ideal candidate will hold a BLS certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and have experience in the perioperative setting scrubbing and assisting under the surgeon with support from PA/RNFA and RN.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning duties: assist with operating room turnover and sterilize equipment.
• Restocking duties: stock peri-anesthesia and perioperative supplies; manage sterile supplies.
• Patient care duties: assist with patient positioning, lifting, and transfers under supervision of RN/PA.
• General duties: participate in meetings, follow policies, maintain infection control; support team as directed.
• Adheres to universal precautions and safety standards; assist in surgery with retracting under direct supervision.
