Job summary

Requires Surgical Technologist certification, BLS, Laser Safety and Robotic Surgery certifications within six months of hire, plus 3+ years in a Level 1/2 trauma OR. You will collaborate with surgeons, nurses and biomed staff.

Qualifications

• Current Surgical Technologist certification through a recognized governing body (e.g., NBSTSA/CST or equivalent).
• BLS certification or equivalent (AHA/Red Cross) required.
• Laser Safety Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Robotic Surgery Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training.
• 3+ years of recent OR technologist experience in a Level 1/2 trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Core duties focused on assisting in routine and advanced adult/pediatric cases.
• Circulating support and equipment setup for OR procedures.
• Assist with cost containment and resource optimization.
• Perform scrub duties and provide leadership when needed.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses and IT/biomed teams.
