UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA is hiring an OR Equipment Specialist 1 to support perioperative care with advanced video, endoscopic, laser and robotic systems. Under supervision, you will help prepare, maintain and troubleshoot complex equipment and collaborate with surgeons, nurses and technicians to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current Surgical Technologist certification required.
• AHA/BLS or UC Davis Health CPR required.
• Laser Safety Certification required within six months of hire.
• Robotic Surgery Certification required within six months of hire.
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training.
• Minimum of three years as a Surgical Technologist in Level 1/2 Trauma OR.
• Experience with integrated OR systems and advanced surgical equipment.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians with procedural robotic equipment setup, use, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical assistance across pediatric and adult endoscopic procedures.
• Coordinate with clinical and technical teams to ensure smooth OR operations.
• Support advanced procedures including laser, microscope-assisted, endoscopic and robotic surgery.
• Contribute to ongoing training on new equipment and competencies.

Connaissances

Surgical Technologist certification
