Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a skilled perioperative RN to provide intraoperative care in scrub and circulating roles. The position requires flexibility for call, weekends, nights and holidays as scheduled, and serves a diverse patient population from neonate to geriatric.

The ideal candidate will scrub and circulate independently, prepare for procedures, and ensure a sterile, safe operating room environment while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia and staff.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (Iowa or compact state).
• Operating Room experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire.
• Reading, writing and speaking English required.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and circulates on cases independently with minimal direction.
• Prepares for surgical cases, anticipating needs of patient, surgeon, anesthesia and OR team.
• Maintains a safe environment by aseptic technique and by managing the environment.
