Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a full-time day shift at Pampa Regional Medical Center, Pampa, TX. The OR RN will prepare patients for surgery, assist the surgical team, and ensure sterile technique and patient safety.

Qualifications include an active state RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications with CNOR preferred and BSN preferred. A sign-on bonus of 15,000 is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• PALS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room, ensuring cleanliness and functioning equipment.
• Assist in prepping the patient for surgery and verify identity and site.
• Document vital signs, medications, and perioperative details for medical records.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure infection control protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and outcomes.
