Job summary

HCA Healthcare in Denver is seeking an OR Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team. You will contribute to patient care in a fast-paced interdisciplinary setting, ensuring readiness before procedures and supporting post-procedure activities.

The role requires Colorado RN license, BLS, BSN preferred, and perioperative experience; CNOR preferred. This position includes a guaranteed hours call schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse; active RN license.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• One year minimum perioperative/OR experience.
• CNOR preferred.
• Guaranteed Hours Role: 60 hours of call, 40 hours guaranteed; call Fri 7pm–Mon 7am.

Responsibilities

• Bring OR nursing skills to serve diverse age groups (adult to pediatric).
• Prepare for procedures by ensuring stock and equipment availability.
• Assist with post-procedure workload and set up for next procedure.
• Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource; delegate per competency level.
• May rotate to non-OR areas and perform only competency-based duties.
