Job summary

UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Perioperative team. You will provide direct patient care in Perioperative, PACU, or OR settings, working with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes.

The role emphasizes precepting, ongoing learning, and applying evidence-based practice to improve safety and quality of care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• State RN licensure is required; BLS certification current.
• 6 months OR nursing experience or UCHealth Fellowship completion.
• Preferred: BSN and CNOR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care in Perioperative, PACU or Operating Room settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Precepting and mentoring new staff and students when applicable.
• Support evidence-based practice and patient safety initiatives.
