Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Nurse Manager, Perioperative Services to provide comprehensive operational, clinical, and financial oversight across perioperative services. The role drives performance, quality, and patient safety while aligning with regulatory standards and organizational goals.

The incumbent will lead a multi-disciplinary team, manage staffing, budgeting, and policy implementation, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence within the surgical enterprise.

Qualifications

• RN with valid license and clinical leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing perioperative operations preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical, operational, and financial performance of perioperative services.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team across assigned facility(s) ensuring safe, high-quality care.
• Develop goals, policies, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, onboard, and evaluate perioperative staff and supervising physicians.
