Qualifications

• Two years of peri-operative nursing leadership experience – Required

• Management experience in Peri-operative Nursing Practice – Required

Responsibilities

• Manages/supervises departmental staff through direction provided to the Clinical Coordinators.
• Assists Surgical Services staff to achieve their potential as members of an effective team.
• Manages all direct and indirect nursing care for patients in the Surgical Services department.
• Oversees OR scheduling and departmental charging; manages budgets to ensure sound fiscal management.
• Promotes safety and ensures proper documentation; supports staff development and growth.
