Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a perioperative RN to join the vascular and transplant-focused surgical team. You will provide direct patient care across minimally invasive, heart failure, heart transplant, thoracic, robotic and vascular procedures.

You will participate in a fast-paced environment, scrub and circulate, and support the team with documentation, patient safety, and family education. BSN preferred; ADN/ nursing diploma accepted with orientation training.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required
• BSN preferred or AD-N candidates considered

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient- and family-centered care.
• Educates patients and families on illness management and home care needs.
• Ensures communication of the plan of care across care continuum.
• Participates in professional development and regulatory compliance.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans with interprofessional team.
