BJC HealthCare’s Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO seeks an experienced RN for Vascular Surgery to join a Magnet-designated facility known for clinical excellence. This staff role emphasizes top-of-license care within a collaborative perioperative team and ongoing professional growth.

The RN will provide direct patient care across perioperative services focusing on vascular/endovascular procedures, safety, education and positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing.
• RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver.
• Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
