Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the OR for a vascular-focused team in Missouri. The role involves direct patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment, including pre/post-op assessment, planning, and collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia providers.

Experience scrubbing and circulating is beneficial; BSN preferred. The position supports orientation and requires commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and BJC values.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree acceptable with appropriate licensure
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation according to nursing standards
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment home care and medication administration
• Promote patient safety and quality with the interprofessional team
• Develop and document care plans with defined goals
• Support readiness to scrub and circulate during procedures
