Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking an Operating Room Nurse to join its fast-paced perioperative team. You will scrub or circulate for diverse surgical cases and work with world-renowned surgeons and anesthesiologists to deliver exceptional patient care.

Requirements include an RN license and a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree with 2–5 years of OR experience. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and CNOR certification.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• 2–5 years of OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families about the procedure and what to expect.
• Scrubs or circulates for surgical procedures and prepares instruments and equipment.
• Maintains patient safety, monitors for complications, and ensures sterile technique.
