Job summary

THOMAS EYE GROUP PC in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead the day-to-day clinical operations within the surgical suites. Under the direction of the Manager of Surgical Services, you will supervise staff, coordinate staffing, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The role requires perioperative nursing experience, supervisory background, and the ability to manage schedules, ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety standards, and support operational and budget goals

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Perioperative nursing experience required.
• Relevant supervisory experience required.
• Management training or experience preferred.
• Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day clinical operations of the surgical suites to ensure efficient workflow and continuity of patient care.
• Assists Manager of Surgical Services in planning, organizing, and directing nursing care and related activities.
• Performs duties of OR, Preop, and Postop RN as needed.
• Provides direction and coaching to clinical staff to promote performance and operational effectiveness.
• Promotes safety, patient rights, confidentiality, and quality perioperative care.
• Coordinates scheduling, staffing coverage, and payroll accountability within budget constraints.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Current state nursing license

Current BLS ACLS PALS certifications
