You will mentor staff, coordinate shift communications, and ensure delivery of high-quality patient outcomes while supporting the OR manager in daily operations.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing and current state licensure.
• BSN required; any leadership or management experience is preferred.
• BLS certification is required within policy guidelines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager with daily operations and staff coordination.
• Interview, select, and supervise nursing personnel in the department.
• Coordinate communications via staff meetings and huddles across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and regulatory policies.
• Conduct rounds with patients, teammates, and physicians to assess care satisfaction.
• Delegate care tasks to appropriate healthcare workers per policy.
• Identify expected outcomes and guide continuity of care and department operations.
• Perform nursing care, administer medications, and assist with treatments as needed.
• Balance patient flow and staffing through ongoing assessment of volume and acuity.
