Job summary

CARIN Alliance seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager, OR to oversee 30 direct reports in a busy surgical service. You will coordinate staffing, scheduling, performance coaching, and governance to sustain high-quality perioperative care.

Responsibilities include budgeting input, productivity monitoring, and ensuring safety and policy compliance across 13 OR suites — including cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases — in a demanding environment requiring strong leadership and clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience, with preferred 5-10 years.
• RN licensure is mandatory.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations for 30 direct reports.
• Ensure quality patient care by coordinating interdisciplinary plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
• Handle staff development, disciplinary actions, and professional growth initiatives.
• Participate in departmental budgeting, monitor productivity, and respond to operational needs.
• Support a fast-paced perioperative setting with 13 OR suites, including cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and hospital policies.
