Job summary

Brown University Health seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide peri-operative care in the Operating Room, scrubbing or circulating as needed, and to assist in post-anesthesia recovery.

Under supervision, you will review charts, administer medications, monitor vital signs, maintain sterile technique, and coordinate with the surgical team, with Rhode Island licensure required and at least one year of OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN licensure in Rhode Island.
• Ability to perform peri-operative nursing duties and life-saving procedures.
• Experience in operating room or surgical recovery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Render professional nursing care for pre-, intra-, and post-operative patients.
• Scrub or circulate during surgical procedures and assist the team.
• Assist in post-anesthesia recovery and monitor vitals.
• Review patient charts, verify orders, and administer medications as prescribed.
