Chesterfield Surgery Center is hiring a PRN Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse to support surgical patients. The RN will plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care for pre- or post-surgical patients, ensuring safety and quality while complying with standards. Care covers ages from 1 month to geriatric.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS Required.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for pre- or post-surgical patients.
• Ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care.
• Cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.
