Job summary

City of Hope is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, Supervisor to lead perioperative services and SPD operations in a high‑reliability, patient‑safety focused environment in Arizona. The role requires overseeing daily OR and instrument processing, staffing and performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, 5+ years in perioperative nursing with 1–2 years in a leadership role, and current AZ RN licensure with BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

Requires BSN and RN license in Arizona or multistate license with AZ privileges.
Five years of progressive perioperative nursing experience including two years in a leadership role.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

Directs day-to-day Surgery and SPD operations to ensure case readiness and staffing.
Provides coaching, supervision, and performance feedback for Surgery and SPD staff.
Ensures compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
Oversees instrument processing, sterilization, and case-cart coordination.
