Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Graduate Nurse for the Perioperative Fellowship. This program guides newly licensed nurses from graduate to professional operating room nurses through structured orientation and hands-on training.

You will participate in eight weeks of basic perioperative orientation, followed by specialty training in various surgical areas. Successful completion leads to a full-time role and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate Nurse with a Temporary Practice Permit or RN license in the state of employment.
• Graduated within one year of cohort start date.
• AHA BLS required before end of orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a designated patient group.
• Participate in structured perioperative orientation and education.
