Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitors effects and response.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given.
• Educates patients and families; identifies learning needs and resources.
