Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Clinical Logistics Associate II at Bridgeport Hospital. You will manage medical/surgical supplies, maintain PAR levels, and coordinate procurement for the operating rooms to support timely procedures.

Responsibilities include using QSight, InFor, SIMS, and PDAD systems, processing orders, updating records, and collaborating with OR staff and purchasing to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required; college preferred or equivalent work experience considered.
  • Minimum 4 years in Operating Room medical/surgical supplies or Materials Management.
  • Experience with purchasing, accounts payable, and patient billing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory, par levels, and nursing/OR supply workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Daily inventories, orders, and receipt of shelf supplies for surgical cases.
  • Maintain PAR levels using InFor, PDAD, QSight; coordinate par changes to reduce waste.
  • Coordinate procurement of emergency supplies and loan items for OR staff.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records and timely supplier communications.
  • Verify vendor appointments and access compliance for the OR environment.
  • Assist Accounts Payable and reconcile invoices related to supplies.
  • Stock, organize, and keep supply areas clean and compliant with standards.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Cluster Leaders and Purchasing.
