Job summary
Abrazo Arrowhead Campus Hospital seeks a Surgery Database Analyst to coordinate nursing computerization within Perioperative Services and serve as a liaison for clinical information system projects. You will oversee EMR & CPOE implementations, training, and ongoing operations, communicating with CI, nursing leadership, and vendor teams.
The role emphasizes SurgiNet workflow, data reporting, and ensuring systems support patient-centered care; familiarity with Cerner interfaces and perioperative
Qualifications
- Education: Nursing Degree; RN preferred with Arizona licensure.
- Experience in perioperative or clinical informatics settings highly desirable.
- Proficient in supporting electronic health record and clinical information systems.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates SurgiNet workflow and perioperative IT initiatives.
- Develops relationships with physicians, clinicians, and staff to support system projects.
- Maintains communication across shifts/departments for smooth operations.
- Provides training and daily reports on training and competency concerns.
- Oversees SurgiNet hardware/software operations and data interfaces.
