Job summary

Carondelet St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson, AZ seeks a perioperative RN with strong electronic systems experience to manage IMMS/Surginet/Cerner interfaces and ensure accurate intraoperative documentation and charge capture.

The role requires ensuring patient assessments, laser safety compliance, and participation in quality improvement to enhance outcomes. Prior perioperative leadership and system experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Two years recent acute care RN perioperative experience.
• License to practice as an RN in Arizona; BLS certification.
• BSN preferred; in lieu of BSN, relevant perioperative nursing experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manages and audits IMMS/Surginet/Cerner interface of Perioperative programs.
• Monitors and analyzes operating room statistics.
• Ensures initial patient assessment and reassessments per hospital policy.
• Ensures compliance with laser safety standards for laser procedures in the OR.
• Applies Quality Improvement processes to improve patient outcomes.
