BARNES-JEWISH Hospital at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis is hiring an OR Equipment Support Tech to provide onsite support for operating room equipment.

The role includes installation, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of biomedical instrumentation in the perioperative environment. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of related experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and an Associate's Degree in Engineering or a related field; 10+ years is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supports clinical teams and provides equipment support in the perioperative environment.
• Performs performance assurance inspections, installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of biomedical instrumentation.
• Provides in-service education and customer service to staff on equipment operation and safety.
• Mentors and trains entry-level Technicians.
• Supports setup, support and troubleshooting of clinical equipment in the operating room; coordinates preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
