Responsibilities

• Prepares for surgery daily by stocking operating rooms according to PAR levels and checks case carts for instrumentation needs.
• Restocks warmers with fluids, blankets, and supplies; orders from central supply/dispatch.
• Performs daily diagnostic testing and records sterilization equipment according to policy.
• Restocks and cleans anesthesia equipment; transports equipment as needed.
• Assists in maintaining unit efficiency by cleaning ORs between procedures and sterilizing instruments.
• Assists with lifting and turning patients, transporting them, and assisting in pre/post op areas and PACU as needed.
