Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital in Needham is seeking a Clinical Coordinator (RN) to join the Operating Room team. You will plan, organize, and oversee daily perioperative operations and staff coordination in Needham.

The role requires strong leadership, perioperative nursing experience, and a BSN with MA nursing license. PALS within one year, CNOR preferred; a sign-on bonus of $20,000 is offered for full-time hires with 2+ years OR experience.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN and MA nursing license.
• PALS certification within 1 year of hire.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Minimum 4 years perioperative nursing experience.
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily clinical and administrative operations of Needham Perioperative operations.
• Prepare staff schedules, requests and allocates resources and facilitates coordination of care/services to meet patient care and operations requirements.
• Develop, implement internal standards, policies and procedures to improve quality and cost effectiveness of patient care.
• Select, supervise and evaluate nursing and clinical support personnel; develop and provide staff education/development programs.
• Lead and participate in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees and special projects.
• Work 40 hours per week.
