Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Clinical Coordinator (RN) to join the Operating Room team in Needham. You will plan, organize and oversee daily perioperative operations, coordinate care and resources, and contribute to the development of internal standards to improve quality and cost effectiveness of patient care.

The role requires 4+ years perioperative nursing experience (pediatric experience preferred) and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
• Leadership/Management experience preferred.

• We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator (RN) to join the team within our Operating Room at Needham.

• Preparing staff schedules, requests and allocates resources and facilitates coordination of care/services to meet patient care and operations requirements.
• Developing, recommending and implementing internal standards, policies and procedures to improve quality and cost effectiveness of patient care.
• Selecting, supervising and evaluating nursing and clinical support personnel as well as developing and providing staff education/development programs.
• Leading and participating in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees and special projects.
• Working 40 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
• Leadership/Management experience preferred.

License/Certifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing and MA nursing license.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• PALS certification is required within one year of hire if not currently certified.
• CNOR Certification preferred.

Sign-on bonus of $20,000 for full-time, 40 hour per week hires with over 2 years of direct OR experience as a Registered Nurse (who have not worked here in the past 2 years).

Pay and Benefits

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
