Penn Medicine in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Physician Assistant to lead coordination of OR Case Cart support within the Interventional Support Center. You will collaborate with the OR Nurse Manager, attending surgeons, and perioperative teams to manage case carts, resources, and fiscal responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will hold PA licensure, a Bachelor’s degree, and BLS certification, with CARE level II or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse – PA licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• CARE level II or equivalent years of experience required.

Responsabilités

• Participates in clinical care as necessary.
• Assumes overall accountability for their area of responsibility. Delegates responsibility to others in their absence.
• Maintains positive and effective interpersonal relations with ISC and perioperative teams.
• Exhibits leadership qualities in problem solving, setting priorities and clinical excellence.
• Collaborates with ISC and Periop leadership and provides feedback concerning staff performance.
• Supports the shared governance model.
• Designs and implements actions to maintain fiscal responsibility of their area of responsibility.
• Proactively ensures all required items (implants and supplies) are in place prior to the scheduled operative case.
• Identifies scheduling conflicts and resolves proactively.
• Primary liaison for clinical issues between entity and ISC.
