Job summary

Tyler Regional Hospital in Tyler, Texas, is seeking a day shift, full-time Surgery Center Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator to lead nursing staff and oversee patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting. The role focuses on coordinating services, maintaining care standards, and supporting hospital goals within the designated department.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced RN licensed in Texas, with circulating and/or scrub experience and BLS certification.

Qualifications

Graduate from an approved school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
Specific service line circulating and/or scrub experience.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
BSN is preferred.
At least two years of recent OR experience is preferred.
ACLS is preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct and supervise staff assigned to the department, supporting the hospital's mission and promoting harmonious relationships among nursing personnel, medical staff, and ancillary departments.
Deliver care to a specific group of patients and evaluate the quality of that care to improve outcomes.
Ensure care is delivered within hospital philosophy and approved budget, in concert with other departments and services.
Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
