UT Health Tyler seeks a day shift, full-time Surgery Center Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator in Tyler, TX. You will lead a nursing team, coordinate clinical operations, and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care within the department.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, evaluating care quality, and aligning activities with hospital goals and budget. The role requires Texas RN licensure, surgical service line experience, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
• Circulating and/or scrub experience in a surgical setting.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.

Responsabilités

• Directs and supervises staff in the department and promotes harmonious relationships among nursing personnel, medical staff, ancillary departments, patients and families.
• Provides for the delivery of care to a specific group of patients and evaluates the quality of that care to improve care.
• Ensure care is delivered within the hospital's philosophy and approved budget, in concert with other departments and services.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
