Job summary

Community Surgery Center of Glendale is seeking a Charge RN to organize and direct nursing services across perioperative care. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily staffing, and ensure compliance with CMS/AAAHC and facility policies.

Qualified applicants hold an active RN license with BLS/ACLS; CNOR/CNAMB and BSN are preferred. Leadership, communication, and EMR proficiency are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Active RN license; current BLS & ACLS (PALS preferred).
• 2+ years ASC, OR circulating, pre-op, and PACU experience.
• Charge/Lead/Supervisory experience preferred.
• CNOR/CNAMB and BSN preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in EMR & Microsoft Office.
• Armenian or Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing and clinical staff and provides daily clinical leadership.
• Coordinates daily staffing assignments based on patient volume, acuity, and staff competency.
• Collaborates with Administrative Director regarding staffing, workflow, and clinical operations.
• Provides direction, coaching, mentoring, and guidance to clinical staff.
• Assists with orientation, training, competency validation, and annual evaluations.
• Promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional development.
• Maintains compliance with CMS, AAAHC, CDPH, OSHA, and facility policies.
• Participates in performance improvement and disciplinary documentation when appropriate.
• Serves as the clinical resource for physicians and staff.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
