Job summary

Community Surgery Center of Glendale is seeking a Clinical Charge Nurse RN to lead nursing services across perioperative care. You will supervise staff, coordinate staffing, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a clinical resource for physicians and teams.

The role requires an active RN license with BLS/ACLS, 2+ years ASC/OR circulating and PACU experience, and strong leadership. The center emphasizes patient safety, quality care, and collaboration with the Administrative Director.

Qualifications

• Active RN license; current BLS & ACLS (PALS preferred).
• 2+ years ASC, OR circulating, pre-op, and PACU experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing and clinical staff and provides daily clinical leadership.
• Coordinates daily staffing assignments based on patient volume, acuity, and staff competency.
• Ensures compliance with CMS, AAAHC, CDPH, OSHA, and facility policies.
• Maintains competency in Pre-Op, OR, and PACU; acts as Circulating RN when needed.
• Oversees infection prevention program and regulatory surveys.
• Oversees clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy.
