Job summary

Community Surgery Center of Glendale is hiring a Clinical Charge Nurse RN to lead nursing services in a busy outpatient surgical setting. You will coordinate perioperative care, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a clinical resource for the team in OR, Pre-Op, and PACU.

The role requires an active RN license with current BLS/ACLS; 2+ years in ASC/OR settings and supervisory experience are preferred. Bilingual abilities are a plus, and compensation is reported per hour.

Qualifications

• Active RN license; BLS & ACLS current (PALS preferred)
• 2+ years ASC, OR circulating, pre-op, and PACU experience
• Charge/Lead/Supervisory experience preferred
• CNOR/CNAMB and BSN preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in EMR & Microsoft Office
• Armenian or Spanish bilingual a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversees organization, supervision, coordination, and daily operation of nursing services per policy
• Collaborates with Administrative Director to ensure clinical operations and patient safety
• Maintains competency to function in OR, Pre-Op, and PACU and provides direct patient care during shortages

The Clinical Charge Nurse RN is responsible for the organization, supervision, coordination, and daily operation of all nursing services in accordance with Federal, State, CMS, AAAHC, and facility policies and procedures. Collaborates with the Administrative Director to ensure clinical operations, regulatory compliance, patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention standards are maintained.
Oversees patient care activities throughout the perioperative continuum while serving as the clinical resource for all nursing staff. Maintains competency to function in the Operating Room, Pre-Operative, and PACU as needed and provides direct patient care during staffing shortages or operational needs.
