Job summary

Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is seeking a Perioperative Care Technician to support the Perioperative Services department. Responsibilities also include managing portable gas tanks, transporting patients, handling specimens, and reporting unsafe equipment to help patient safety

Qualifications

• Two years of recent general medical experience.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked equipment and supply areas.
• Ensure perioperative equipment is functional and available for cases.
• Assist clinical staff in preparing operating rooms for procedures.
• Transport patients and manage specimens as needed.
• Assist with equipment turnovers and report unsafe equipment.
