Qualifikationen

• 6 months of recent general medical experience preferred.
• Preferred knowledge of Surgery Procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic knowledge of good body mechanics.
• Ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of team members.
• BLS required.
• Must adhere to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate transport of patients in admission, transfer, and discharge to promote efficiency in the Surgery department.
• Assist in bed preparation for receiving admissions, returning surgical patients, transfers or emergencies.
• Assist with positioning and transfer of patients in the OR under direction of RN and/or MD.
• Respond to patient and visitor questions and needs immediately.
• Adhere to patient safety and infection control guidelines and PPE usage.
