Job summary

BayCare Health System, Surgery-MPH, located at Morton Plant, seeks an OR Care Tech for a full-time role. Responsibilities include direct/indirect patient care under RN supervision, OR assistance, and perioperative prep.

Shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with on-site duties and a comprehensive benefits package. The position requires BLS certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably a technical program completion or degree.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical program completion or degree preferred.
• 1 year of procedural and/or perioperative inpatient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of an RN.
• Assist in the operating room during surgery and in the recovery room.
• Prepare patients for surgery or procedures.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and sterilizers; assist in prep and cleanup.
