Job summary

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics in Bellevue, WA, is seeking Patient Care Technicians (CNA) for its Perioperative Care Unit. This role prepares patients for surgical procedures and provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent nursing training.
• 1+ year hospital CNA experience strongly preferred.
• Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) required or sponsorship available.
• Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Good communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision in the Perioperative Care Unit.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and maintain patient comfort.
• Assist nursing staff with routine tasks and documentation.
• Support patient families and ensure safety and privacy.
