Job summary

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking Patient Care Technicians (CNA) for the Perioperative Care Unit, preparing patients for surgical procedures across Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular and General Surgery. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision.

The role is 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week) with evening shifts (8 or 12 hours). Overlake sponsors MA-R licensure and requires NA-C and CPR certification, plus hospital

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required
• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience
• 1+ year working in a hospital environment as a CNA strongly preferred
• Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) also required (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure upon hire)
• Health Care Provider CPR Certification required
• One year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity is preferred
• Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills
