Job summary

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking Patient Care Technicians (CNA) for the Perioperative Care Unit to prepare patients for surgical procedures across Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular and General Surgery. The role provides direct patient care under RN supervision and supports families.

0.7 FTE (28 hours/week); 8-hour days; schedule TBD. CNA certification and CPR required; MA-R sponsorship available. Bellevue, WA.

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience.
• 1+ year hospital CNA experience strongly preferred.
• Medical Assistant Registered MA-R required (sponsorship on hire).
• Health Care Provider CPR Certification required.
• One year recent healthcare patient contact experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity preferred.
• Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills.

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is currently seeking Patient Care Technicians (CNA) for our Perioperative Care Unit . This unit is responsible to prepare patients for surgical procedures. Patient populations include Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery. The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care to patients and their families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

0.7 FTE /28 hours per week

Days 8 hour shift / Schedule TBD

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience.
• 1+ year working in a hospital environment as a CNA strongly preferred.
• Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) also required (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure upon hire)
• Health Care Provider CPR Certification required.
• One year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity is preferred.
• Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.
