RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician for the Main Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. The role supports the operating room team by preparing anesthesia equipment, assisting providers during procedures, and ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow.

The position is hourly with a day shift, requiring a high school diploma and knowledge of septic technique. Two years of anesthesia technician experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Knowledge of septic technique, medical terminology, and clinical equipment.
• 2 years of anesthesia technician experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare operating rooms by arranging anesthesia equipment and supplies for each case.
• Assist anesthesia staff during procedures and respond to operational needs.
• Maintain infection control and proper disposal of sharps and equipment.
• Clean, disinfect, and stock anesthesia devices and monitors daily.
• Support patient care before and after surgery and monitor equipment performance.
