RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Care Technician at the Main Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. You will support registered nurses by providing hands-on patient care, monitor vitals, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and current BLS certification; CNA experience is preferred. The position offers day shift, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and some holidays.

Formación

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Previous nursing assistant experience or CNA preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting patients with ADLs and nursing care, including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and bedside care.
• Monitor vital signs (BP, pulse, resp, temp) to track patient health.
• Document patient information accurately in the EHR with confidentiality.
• Apply infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
• Communicate with patients, families, and clinicians to coordinate care plans.
• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) such as CPR when needed.
• Deliver patient care appropriate to the patient age group.
• Support safe outcomes through clinical judgment and action.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nurses about status.
• Participate in care plan collaboration from admission to discharge.
