Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support perioperative anesthesia care.

The role involves preparing equipment, assisting anesthesiologists and CRNAs, and helping ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical workflow. Responsibilities include assisting with patient transfer, managing anesthesia carts and devices, and coordinating with the Surgical Team to position patients and prepare for intubation under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 6 months hospital experience required.
• Anesthesia Tech experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ICARE standards.
• Ability to maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in perioperative anesthesia care to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assists in transferring patients from stretcher/bed to rooms/OR and to PACU.
• Maintains and checks anesthesia equipment and supplies; coordinates with biomedical/maintenance.
• Assists with positioning patients for procedures and with intubation prep.
• Collects and transports specimens and materials as needed during procedures.
