Job summary

Southcoast Health in Dartmouth, MA is seeking a dedicated perioperative support professional. The role involves assisting in the Perioperative Services, anesthesia, ASU, OB, Cath Lab and Interventional locations, along with handling and cleaning perioperative equipment.

Responsibilities include assisting nursing staff, performing ORA duties as needed, and completing training to demonstrate competency in endoscope reprocessing. A solid high school foundation and CPR/BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of related clinical work experience.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to perioperative care.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support Perioperative Services, Anesthesia, ASU, OB, Cath Lab and Interventional locations.
• Handle, clean and maintain perioperative, endoscopy and anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Assist nursing personnel in patient care and related duties.
• Perform ORA duties including on-call as needed.
• Complete training and demonstrate competency in endoscope and prostate probe reprocessing.
