Southcoast Health is seeking a dedicated perioperative support specialist to join our team at the Faunce Corner Ambulatory Surgery Center in Dartmouth, MA. You will assist the perioperative and anesthesia teams, handling and maintaining equipment and supplies across multiple units including ASU, OB, and Cath Lab.
Requirements include a high school diploma, at least one year of clinical hospital experience, BLS/CPR certification, and CNA or equivalent knowledge.

Position reports to the Manager, OR Service Group or Manager, Outpatient Surgery Center or Designee, perform a variety of duties in support of the Perioperative Services, Anesthesia, ASU, OB, Cath Lab and Interventional locations including but not limited to handling, cleaning and maintenance of perioperative, endoscopy and anesthesia equipment and supplies, assisting perioperative and anesthesia team. Assist nursing personnel in providing patient care and related duties within assigned areas. Perform ORA duties including on-call as needed or required. Experience with endoscopy scope cleaning, processing and handling is preferred. The candidate will be expected to complete training and demonstrate competency in all endoscope and prostate probe reprocessing functions and related responsibilites as part of the role.
