Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a PeriOp Inventory Receiver to join the Operations team. You will receive, inspect, and log surgical supplies into the inventory system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities include using Lawson for inventory updates, coordinating with Purchasing and Quality, and operating a forklift to move materials. HS diploma and 1+ year warehousing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in warehousing, shipping & receiving, or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Receiving products into inventory and inspecting for damage.
• Verify receipt of items using information systems.
• Communicate critical information to prevent delays in receiving.
• Research/resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain flow of surgical supplies and equipment.
• Utilize Lawson to update inventory changes.
• Operate forklift and pallet jacks daily.
• Wrap, label, and log items for shipping; manage outgoing shipments.
• Participate in regular inventory counts.
