Job summary

CHI Health is seeking a Clinical Educator RN to lead and advance nursing education across clinical settings. You will design, implement, and evaluate dynamic education programs, mentor frontline nurses, and drive best practices to sustain clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Nursing education experience developing and implementing clinical education programs
• Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience
• Active RN license in Nebraska
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• BSN or MSN qualification on hire or MSN within 5 years of start date

Responsibilities

• Assess, researches, coordinates/facilitates, implements, and evaluates educational and professional development programs as established by CHI Health nursing division and/or campus leadership.
• Acts as role model, clinical nursing expert, change agent, mentor, and leader to the campus and CHI Health nursing division.
• Serves as a consultant for organizational, divisional, and system initiatives and program development related to nursing practice.
• Actively seeks out evidence-based practice and applies it to clinical excellence and education.
• Provides clinical expertise and leadership to quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinates and facilitates nursing transitions to practice and ongoing professional development through onboarding, clinical orientation, nurse residency, fellowships, competency assessment, and preceptor/mentor programs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) upon hire orMasters of Nursing (MSN) upon hire orcompletion of an MSN program within 5 years of start date
• Nursing education experience demonstrating progressive experience in the development and implementation of clinical education programs
• Minimum three years relevant nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Nebraska
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
